   Have his father or a male show him how to go outside! Then the only problem you’ll have is stopping him!He’ll love the whole idea.

   My advice isnt going to help you much. Kids will be potty trained when they are ready in my experience. With my son it took longer because he was so wrapped up in what he was doing that going potty wasnt a priority for him. The only thing I can suggest is putting him on the potty every few hours and explaining to him what you want him to do. Good Luck

   Here is my fool proof plan Im a soon to be mother of 7 (Right now I have 5) And 4 are potty trained. 2 of them, are boys. Cheerios. Put Cheerios in the toliet and tell him to aim at them. When he hits them, they will sink. It will make potty training just a little more fun for him, and a little easier for you.

   First getting him to go by throwing cherios into the potty and telling him to aim and see how many he can hit. This one came from a friend of mine whose husband didn’t know how to potty train a boy.

   Let his dad take him in the bathroom with him when he goes . A man showing a boy how he does it can help because they have the same equipment. And it seems like kids perform better for a father in general.

   Buy them their favorite character underwear and tell to not pee on them or they will get sad or something like that and when they go to the bathroom remind them to aim/ pee in the hole in the toilet. I gave my brother a Gummy Bear every time he went until he went on his own. But you can use pull ups too.

   Use rewards (sticker chart, m&m’s, dollar store toys, etc…)
   Just put him in underwear and if he pees don’t change him right away make him change himself
   Make it a game- pee on the cheerios!
   Have him go potty with daddy
   Read books about it
   Go visit the school you want him to go to and explain to him he has to be in big boy pants to go there

   Really I think pushing the issue makes it harder to accomplish the goal. I never said one word about potty to my 2 1/2 yr old then one day he came up to me and said potty I took his diaper off and he went! My oldest on the other hand I potty trained for like a year and finally when the new baby was born he decided he was gonna be done with diapers!

   Always make a "show" of it when he goes and you know of it. Tell him what a "big boy" he his like his Daddy and HOW PROUD you are of him. This will make him proud.

    Tell him he can make bubbles in the water when pees’. I would say to my son," let’s go make bubbles." This worked really well. Good Luck

    Don’t pressure him. I tried that all it did was stress me out. I think boys sometimes train later. My boys were both three and a half and it was much easier and I’ve never heard of a five year old still in diapers. Relax!
